Call for Entries
The Imperial County Film Commission would like to announce dates for its 8th Annual Imperial Valley Film Festival and Artist Showcase. The film festival and showcase will be held on Friday, October 18, 2019 at the Ricochet Event Center in Imperial. The Film Festival is a juried exhibition of works by student and independent filmmakers who live/lived, attended school - or work in Imperial County, Yuma and Mexicali. The artist showcase will display works by featured local artists.
Film entries are now being accepted in the following categories: 1) Short Films* 2) Documentary/Historical* 3) Music Videos* 4) Animation* (*Entries must be 30 minutes or less). Submissions must be delivered via DropBox or YouTube/Vimeo link. Email download link to: ImperialValleyFF@gmail.com.
Submission deadline is Friday, September 6, at 4:00 pm.
Submission fee is $40 per entry.

The Curtain Is Set To Open For The
8th Annual Imperial Valley Film Festival and Artist Showcase
The Imperial County Film Commission announced today that tickets are now on sale for the 8th Annual Imperial Valley Film Festival. The event will take place on Friday, October 18, from 5pm-10pm at the Ricochet Event Center in Imperial.
The Art Gallery and no-host bar will be open to ticket holders at 5p. Dinner is planned for 6pm with festivities to begin at 6:30pm
This year’s festival will be different than years past as everything will take place in one night with dinner presentations, competitions screenings and a Q&A with local filmmakers interlaced together.
