Imperial County Film Commission Announces Winners of Its Virtual Film Festival

The Imperial County Film Commission is proud to announce the winners of its fifth in a series of virtual film festivals. This festival was open to all genres of filmmaking and six entries were received, accepted for adjudication, and considered for judging.

The winners are as follows:
1st place:      “The Black Dude Lives!” directed by Lomai 
2nd place:     “Jornalero”    directed by Paola Manzano
3rd place:      “Jaque” directed by Juan Carlos Salazar

The public is encouraged to view the festival entries between January 22-29 by clicking here. 

The last festival in the series will be a compilation of all previous festival winners and will be available to view online, February 19-26, 2022.
