The Imperial County Film Commission continues to monitor the COVID-19 situation and is staying abreast of restrictions and health & safety concerns throughout the state.
As you may or may not know, Imperial County is in a “shelter at home” mode and has caused over half of the local businesses to close temporarily, work remotely or have very limited access to the public. While the film commission remains available to assist the filming industry with prospective locations for future filming, we will not be issuing film permits at this time nor meeting in person to scout or discuss production requests. You may send your inquiries via email or contact us via phone.
Please continue to check our website for updates and/or revised restrictions.
We thank you for your assistance and hope everyone stays healthy as we, a state, country and world go through this epidemic.
The Imperial Valley is home to a great number of restaurants, hotels and retail stores. Our community offers the comforts of major chains and brands as well as the charms and unique culture of locally owned establishments.
